Who We Are

A commissioned-works studio — every piece sculpted, moulded and finished on our own benches.

Y Sculpture is the personal-commission studio of a fibreglass sculpture manufacturer that has been building for more than fifteen years. We take on a limited number of commissions at a time — a dog, a cat, a portrait, a family — and we sculpt every one of them from the photographs you send.

Nothing is brokered out. The 3D model, the full-size build, the mould, the finishing and the crate all happen on our own benches, which is why we can show you the piece in three dimensions before you commit, and why we can tell you honestly when a photograph will not support the detail you are hoping for.

Behind the studio sits a team of over fifty engineers, artists and craftsmen, a production facility in the Sculpture Industrial Park in Guangdong, and more than 2,800 completed projects shipped to fifty countries. A one-metre garden piece and a twelve-metre public sculpture are made by the same hands, to the same standard.

What We Do

Cartoon Pet Sculptures

Dogs, cats, horses and other animals, sculpted from your photos at any size from 1.5 m up to landmark scale, in gloss-painted fibreglass.

Cartoon Portrait Sculptures

Busts, full figures and couple or family groups sculpted from photographs " + EM + " sized for a shopfront, a lobby, a garden or a public site.

Fibreglass Only

We build in FRP fibreglass, over an internal steel frame, for every commission on this site.

Worldwide Delivery

Custom crating, export documentation, air and sea freight, and on-site installation for larger works anywhere in the world.

Materials & craftsmanship

Three Materials, One Honest Recommendation

We build in FRP fibreglass. Stainless steel, bronze and cold-cast resin appear on our materials page as comparisons rather than as options we offer, because a cartoon sculpture lives or dies on colour and fibreglass is the only one of the four that reproduces a colour exactly. Surface finishes include hand-applied chemical patina, automotive-grade urethane, electroplating and UV-protective coating. Every piece passes a multi-point inspection before it is crated.
