Seven stages from photographs to a finished fibreglass sculpture — and you approve every one.
Send 2–3 clear angles — front, profile and three-quarter — plus the size, material and where the piece will live. Old photographs and phone video are fine. We reply within 24 hours with an honest read on what your references can and cannot support, and what scale the piece needs to be.
We confirm size, material and timeline, then send a single fixed price that states the material grade and sheet thickness, the internal steel frame, freight, who pays duty, and the warranty. Nothing begins until you approve it in writing.
The form is built in three dimensions from your photographs and you receive renders from every angle. We exaggerate proportion, not identity — the features that make the subject recognisable stay faithful. Two rounds of revision are included, and nothing goes into production without your sign-off.
The approved model is scaled up and built over an internal steel frame. Every piece above 1.5 m carries one, and above 2 m the frame is drawn by a structural engineer. It is typically 10–20% of the cost, and it is the part a cheap quote quietly leaves out.
The full-size form becomes a mould and the piece is laminated into it over the internal frame. This is the stage where fibreglass earns its place: the mould can be reused, so ten identical pieces cost far less per unit than ten separate builds. Fibreglass is finished in multi-layer automotive paint with hand-painted detail, sealed under a UV clear coat — that is what gives 15–20 years outdoors before the coat needs refreshing. The clear coat is what decides how long the colour holds, so it is specified on every quote.
Every piece passes a dimensional inspection, a surface-finish audit and a load check before it is crated. We ship worldwide and can arrange on-site assembly, or supply the fixing and plinth specification for your own contractor.
